EasyBikePlan (easybikeplan.codeq.nu) respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we process and why.

1. Who we are

EasyBikePlan is a motorcycle-first route planner as a Progressive Web App, offered via codeq.nu.

2. Data we process

Account data: email address, display name, password (hashed), language preference and subscription status. Route data: routes you create or import (GeoJSON, title, statistics). Technical data: session cookies for sign-in, server logs (IP address, timestamp) for security. Location data: only when you start Follow Mode — processed locally in your browser, not stored on our servers.

3. Why we use data

To manage your account, store and sync routes, send email verification and password resets, and protect the app against abuse.

4. Retention

Data is kept while your account is active. After account deletion, your data is removed from our systems and backups within 30 days.

5. Third parties

We do not sell personal data. For routing (GraphHopper/Valhalla), map tiles (MapTiler/Carto) and email (SMTP) we only send strictly necessary data to those services.

6. Cookies

We use functional session cookies for authentication. No tracking or advertising cookies.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, delete and export your data. Delete your account via Settings. For other requests, contact us at the email above.
